The director of the Gutierrez de la Fuente Architecture studio, Mr. Julio de la Fuente, invites IEI-ENERES team to participate in this contest, for the development of the Energy Efficiency approach of the project and the proposals for the rehabilitation of the original historical structure of the property. The proposal for the rehabilitation of the Delicias Station supposes an enhancement of the existing building, through the rehabilitation that recovers the Original Architecture of the Station, which has endured various actions over the years, which have significantly distorted the compression of the original spaces. Technical criteria for restoration, consolidation, replacement, and conservation characteristic of its construction elements and the use of measures to achieve energy efficiency in the building and the comfort of its users are proposed.
